Antares A is the brightest star in the constellation Scorpius, as well as the 15th brightest star in the night sky. Antares A is often associated among the largest stars, with a radius of 680 Solar Radii. Antares A shares similarities with various red supergiants, such as R Horologii and Betelgeuse, with all three stars having similar size and temperature.
